Welcome to "The Hangar!"
We would like to introduce ourselves to you.
We are George Knapple and Terry Holley who own and operate The Hangar.
When we bought the business in 2003, it was located in a small store in the west side of the "Air Capital City" of Wichita.
We moved into our much larger current location in 2004.  Here you will find a huge selection of RC model planes in every category of Scale Modeling.
We also carry Balsa Wood, Modeling Tools, Supplies and Paints.
We consider The Hangar to be an old time model shop and intend to keep it that way.
We specialize in model kits, model building materials and supplies for the novice to the expert hobby enthusiast.  We have an on site building and repair shop to answer all your hobby needs.  It is our desire to have an honest, cheerful, courteous, knowledgeable operation and run with a combined 65 years of modeling experience.
It is not our desire to be the largest hobby shop, but to be the best we can be.  We would like to thank our past and present customers for your support and would like to welcome our new customers.  We look forward to doing business with each of you in the future
